It’s an exciting time to be a breastfeeding mom in New Zealand as they’ve just broken a record with 1,111 moms joining together for breastfeeding. Dubbed “The Big Latch On” the moms all gathered together for the start of World Breastfeeding Week to show support and gain awareness for breastfeeding in New Zealand and, as news traveled, around the world. The final number was a great increase from last year’s 937, hopefully meaning that awareness and support for breastfeeding moms is gaining solid ground.

Congrats New Zealand!
