Shirts for Moms with Attitude

I’m a mom who likes to wear fun clothes, and that includes tshirts that stand out. Most of my favorite have interesting or important slogans on them. And I’m always looking for a new one. So a shirt that says “I don’t do cupcakes” hits it for me. I may be a stay at home mom but I’m no posterchild for a return to the 1950’s. The new trends in mommy tshirts are reflecting the cool moms of today.

The cupcake shirt comes form a great article I read this weekend, Slogan T-shirt finds a new generation of enthusiasts among mothers. In the article many women talk about how they love motherhood and want to show it off. The funny, sweet, and sometimes passionate shirts spark a conversation and help share a laugh between moms who get it. One mother says she proudly wears her “Still Breastfeeding” shirt out in public. I love it! Now that I’m nursing an honest to goodness toddler I need to get a shirt like that.

Even celebs are getting into the tshirt craze, showing off their style with simple slogans on fun shirts. And hey, if celeb moms are doing it then you know it’s cool.
