Sad news - Fathers murdering mothers

The news lately has been disturbing, and though I try to avoid it the negativity still comes through. Being a mother often makes my heart hurt a little more for the death of children, but being a woman also makes me feel uneasy when so many other women die at the hands of men that should be their partners.

Three major cases seem to be every where right now. Bobby Cutts and the murder of his girlfriend Jessie Davis and their unborn child, a murder which happened in front of their 2 year old son. Christopher Vaughn shooting and killing his wife and their three children in the family SUV. And more recently WWE Wrestly Chris Benoit strangling his wife, smothering his son, and finally hanging himself in their family home.

I cannot begin to express how sad these incidents make me, and I can only hope that peace comes to the families of the victims and that justice is served fairly.

    It is so tragic. In my state they are now pushing for murder charges to apply to the murder of an unborn baby when the mother is murdered. Right now there is no such law here, and I for one am all for it. It is just so very very sad.
