Some Friday Fun

friday-fun.jpgI have recently discovered that I prefer life without contact lenses.  Normally my routine is to put them in first thing in the morning right after I get out of bed.  Either that or grab my glasses.  Well the other day I was in a hurry to get my daughter off to school and didn’t do either.  My morning was a wonderful blur.  I finished my morning routine and then came upstairs to get ready.  It wasn’t until I put my contacts in that I realized every little crease and flaw on my face, every spot and speck of dirt on my carpet, my daughters’ jelly stained face, etc.  I took my contacts right back out and decided that sometimes blurry ignorance is a wonderful thing……
