Married to an Old Man

old-man-birthday.jpgOk, I guess my husband isn’t that old but he is turning 30 this Friday and that is quite a milestone.  I don’t know, there’s just something about leaving the 20’s decade behind.  He is being a good sport about it but I know it is a little upsetting for him.

In honor of the big occassion I am throwing a birthday bash for him.  I have invited many of his friends all the way back from high school and college up to his present work colleagues.  Considering I’ve never thrown a 30th birthday party before I am trying to get some ideas of what fun/funny games or activities we should do at the party.  I’d love your feedback!  And don’t worry, we won’t give the old fart that hard of a time.  :)

If you are a bicentennial baby like my hubby check out these fun facts from 1976.  Jimmy Carter was the president, Cincinnati won the World Series, and the number one movie was Rocky just to name a few.  Wow, that really was a long time ago…..
